I had a wonderful stay at Hol Chan Reef Resort & Villas. The hotel was absolutely stunning, with a lovely pool and direct access to the ocean. However, I should mention that it was a bit of a trek—about 20-25 minutes by golf cart to the town center, and the dirt road ride was rather bumpy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for its beauty and helpful staff.

My stay at Hol Chan Reef Resort & Villas was overall fantastic, with exceptionally friendly staff and stunning ocean views. However, the bumpy dirt road leading to the hotel was an adventure on its own, and I was surprised that they didn't have their own boats for excursions. Still, the vast, comfortable room and helpful service made it a nice trip.
